Priority areas in Tunisia
Until the late 1980s, Development Cooperation with Tunisia was focused on several sectors including water management, drinking water supply and sewage disposal, environmental and resource conservation, rural development, and vocational training. From 2000, in consultation with the Tunisian Government, German Development Cooperation began to concentrate its programmes and projects on two priority areas. In both priority areas, GTZ cooperates closely with KfW Entwicklungsbank (development bank). |
