Analysis of results

GIZ subjects the lessons learned from cooperation with indigenous peoples to systematic assessment and presents them in the form of publications and working papers. When feasible, empirical results are analysed jointly with other German DC organisations. 

Projects with indigenous peoples as direct partners or as target groups

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ supports a number of projects and programmes which have specifically set themselves the goal of improving the living conditions of indigenous peoples (see Projects 1 and Projects 2).

There are at the same time
projects in which cooperation with indigenous peoples is pursued as a cross-cutting theme.
Here indigenous peoples in the project area are among a number of target groups (see Projects 3).
