Kazakhstan is a partner country of German development cooperation. GTZ has supported Kazakhstan in its reform efforts since the early 1990s. Since 2000, bilateral cooperation has focused on supporting economic reforms and developing a market economy. GTZ activities currently focus on four key areas: Sustainable Economic Development
