Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM)

The Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM), a joint operation of GTZ and the German Federal Employment Agency (BA), is also active in Kyrgyzstan, where it places highly qualified specialist and management personnel with local employers. This promotes sustainable development and also encourages capacity development among the partners.

Other partnerships and alliances

To ensure optimum implementation of programmes and projects in Kyrgyzstan, GTZ works closely with KfW Entwicklungsbank. They also maintain a German development cooperation office together in Bishkek.

In addition, GTZ coordinates its activities in Kyrgyzstan with other bilateral and multilateral international cooperation organisations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
