• Sustainable economic development
  GTZ advises economic, educational and consultancy institutions in working toward an economy with competitive capacity, vocational training oriented to the job market, and income-generating employment. 
• Rural development 
  Especially poor regions in the northern mountains are to be supported and promoted through coordinated measures in the areas of infrastructure, financial systems, rural economy and investments in the health and education sectors.
