GTZ and private companies combine their individual strengths within Public Private Partnerships (PPP).

European institutions

As a German international cooperation organisation, GTZ aligns its work with the principles of the 2005 Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. Efficient coordination with other European countries has already been achieved in South Africa. In 2008, cooperation with Irish Aid has been planned in the field of administrative reform, to name only one example.
