Partnerships and Alliances in Zambia

GTZ works closely with other German and European institutions in order to guarantee the optimum management of programmes and projects in Zambia.

Centre for international Migration and Development (CIM)

In the CIM working group, GTZ and the German Federal Employment Agency arrange work for highly qualified technical experts and managers with Zambian employers.

  • German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR).

GTZ works in priority areas with different partners at an international level:

  • Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) – focussing on water as a priority area
  • World Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) – decentralisation is a priority area
  • Department for International Development (DFID), Great Britain; Irish Aid, Ireland – priority areas are governance, state and civil society.

GTZ also works with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
