The work of GTZ International Services (GTZ IS) in Cameroon focuses on setting up a fund to finance the national forest programme. Preparations began as early as 2003. We have been working on establishing the fund since August 2005 on behalf of the Cameroon Ministry of Forests and Wildlife. We also advise the Ministry on building up fund management capacities, so that the Cameroon Government will be able to manage the fund in the medium to long term without external support.

• Study on Establishing a Basket Fund (Department for International Development, DFID, United Kingdom)
