In the spirit of joined-up development cooperation, GIZ works closely with KfW Entwicklungsbank for financial cooperation.

To ensure optimum project implementation in Ghana, GIZ also works closely with other European institutions. GIZ also coordinates its activities with other bilateral and multilateral development partners. Wherever possible and appropriate, its programmes are executed jointly with such partners, for example:

• The Dutch Directorate General for International Cooperation: sustainable economic development
• Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA): sustainable economic development
• The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO): good financial governance.
• Various partners in the Joint Sector Group on Decentralisation: decentralisation
