How we workOur core competence is capacity development i.e. the development of abilities and skills that enable people to shape their present and future living conditions through their own efforts. We seek to build up organisational capacities and help put resources to effective and efficient use in order to achieve our partners' development goals on a sustainable basis. Our consultants guarantee the transfer of know-how and experience in the field. Far-reaching structural changes in particular require close cooperation with governments and administrations. Traditions must be taken into account, although they must not be allowed to block new developments. A balance must be found between the interests of the population, the government and the economy. Convincing all parties of the benefits of a project through facilitation, arbitration and cooperation is just as crucial to success as economic support and the know-how transfer. When all stakeholders are convinced of the value of their project and their inputs, the project is strong and sustainable.
