Eschborn Dialogue 2002. Shaping the future through international cooperation.

Shaping the future through international cooperation
securing peace – reducing poverty – protecting the environment

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH held the Eschborn Dialogue 2002 on 17-18 June. The Dialogue again took place at GTZ Head Office in Eschborn near Frankfurt/Main. Representatives of the worlds of business, society and politics had the opportunity to discuss current themes in development cooperation with GTZ experts and identify common goals.

The theme for the Dialogue was chosen with an eye to the World Summit for Sustainable Development in Johannesburg.
Central questions for Eschborn Dialogue were: Will we in international cooperation meet the demands of Agenda 21? How can globalisation be influenced in the interests of sustainable development? How can intercultural processes in global structures be designed to be conflict free?
