The topic of peace and security has long been an important part of our work. GTZ runs a large number of projects and programmes supporting its partners in crisis prevention, the stabilisation of weak societies, and reconstruction in post-conflict situations. Below we present a small selection of such projects and programmes, which we will change regularly:
-
Cambodia: Destruction of ammunition and explosives
Today up to 100,000 tonnes of ammunition and explosives are stored in Cambodia, some under alarming conditions. GTZ is helping with the destruction of these stocks.

Somalia: The Blacksmiths' Centre in Huddur
