Technical and vocational education and training is responsible for increasing the number of well-trained candidates for employment. Botswana: To reduce dependency on mining, a strategy of economic diversification was pursued. The technical and vocational education and training system was also fundamentally redesigned. China: For a long time, women benefited the least from economic reform and privatisation in China. By expanding labour market policy and establishing targetgroup-oriented advisory methods, the project, completed in 2006, contributed to substantially increasing the number of women placed in employment.
