Liberalisation and regulation of financial services in trade agreementsGIZ hosted an expert talk on the liberalisation and regulation of financial services in trade agreements. Prof. Dr. Christian Tietje, PD Dr. Diemo Dietrich and Dr. Jasper Finke presented their study "Liberalization and Rules on Regulation in the field of Financial Services in Bilateral and Regional Integration Agreements". The presentation was followed by a discussion among various experts in the field. It focused on how developing countries can best be supported within the context on the liberalisation and regulation of financial sevices in trade agreements.
