Owing to its expertise, its many years of experience and its international network, the Climate Protection Programme team is a qualified contact for all aspects of climate protection in developing countries. With the evaluation of results from the many national and international projects in developing countries, GIZ's range of climate protection services is constantly being expanded. The measures are intended to support developing countries in fulfilling their commitments under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol and in playing a pro-active role in policy development in new, future-oriented fields of action.

We deploy an interdisciplinary team of project staff and consultants for strategy development, planning, evaluation, communication and monitoring of climate issues, and also for the concrete realisation of projects.
