German Ministries German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ, Bundesministerium für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung). German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU, Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit). Bilateral Implementing Agencies Agence Française de Développement (AFD): French bilateral development cooperation agency, supports over 60 developing countries on behalf of the French Government. GIZ Proklima currently implements several projects funded by AfD. These include national ODSphase-out projects in India and Iran as well as East Africa and the Indian Ocean (Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Seychelles, Uganda and Tanzania). Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC): Switzerland’s international cooperation agency within the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). GIZ Proklima collaborates with SDC on the CFC phase-out project in India.
