- choosing environmentally friendly alternatives to ODS
- planning and acquiring new plant and machinery
- employing innovative technologies for recovery and reuse
- organising waste disposal and environmental management in the private sector
- working with the public sector.
Training for the following groups
- trainers, as multipliers for knowledge on the proper use of ODS and on environmentally friendly alternatives
- engineers, on the reprocessing and reuse of ODS and the maintenance of refrigeration systems
- farmers, on the use of alternative, ozone-friendly methods
- customs inspectors, on how to identify CFCs, halons, methyl bromide and other environmentally damaging substances in their checks on imports and exports.

- planning and implementing fairs on themes relating to international development
