HIV/AIDS and development
HIV/AIDS is a global threat – one which directly affects GTZ's work in a number of developing countries. Development projects and their staff are increasingly affected by this human tragedy. In terms of concrete daily work, trained and able employees and important decision-makers sometimes fall victim to the disease and can no longer serve in the project. The struggle against HIV/AIDS is thus a topic that must be taken up in every area of a country's development. More on
