A source of comprehensive information: the ACCA toolbox

HIV/AIDS interventions at the workplace are a complex topic. They embrace all areas of general HIV/AIDS work at community level, as well as additional aspects primarily concerning the private sector. Workplace programmes are relatively new in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

To aid these interventions, the ACCA regional project has developed a specific information tool called the ACCA toolbox. It contains articles, presentations, weblinks, data forms and models on:

• the impact of HIV/AIDS on the private sector
• advocacy, negotiation and project development
• baseline surveys
• prevention
• health care provision
• human resource management
• community outreach
• monitoring and evaluation.

The collection of documents includes most of the internationally available materials in the field, which have been kindly contributed by many international and national organisations and companies.
