Common objectives – partners of GTZ in the field of HIV workplace interventions

GTZ and the ACCA regional project are part of a network of national and international activities in the field of HIV/AIDS interventions at the workplace. The main commissioner of GTZ services plays a significant role in this context:

• The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit, BMZ), the donor agency on behalf of the German government.

Other parties of interest in this sphere include:

• Private sector representatives such as companies and business interest groups;
• International organizations which promote the scientific support and implementation of HIV/AIDS workplace programs worldwide;
• German development organizations such as the German Development Service (Deutscher Entwicklungsdienst, DED) and InWEnt (Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung GmbH), which pursue complementary approaches to HIV/AIDS workplace programs;
• Other divisions, programs and projects within GTZ working in the field of HIV/AIDS or cooperating with the private sector.
