GIZ's internal Virtual Network on Poverty ReductionThe virtual network on poverty reduction was set up in August 2004 to enable GIZ (former GTZ) staff from different regions to share their knowledge and experience. It is designed to make the best possible use of the specialised knowledge available among GIZ experts on the topic of structural poverty reduction and to increase this knowledge. Members of the network are sent a regular newsletter containing information about new studies, articles and events on selected topics; there is also a forum giving them the opportunity to share their experience and views. The newsletter currently appears in German, English, French and Spanish and contains brief summaries of the new documents.
