This study, commissioned by the GTZ on behalf of the BMZ, is now available on CD. On the basis of five country studies (Albania, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Vietnam, Nicaragua) the study investigates the effectiveness and efficiency of PRS - monitoring systems. Issues such as institutional structure, selection of indicators, data sources, participation as well as dissemination and use of the monitoring results are addressed. Furthermore, the study examines how donors can use the monitoring information provided and how so far they supported and can support in future the development of PRS monitoring systems.
