Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)PPP – the vocabulary of Development Cooperation has grown by three letters. PPP – these are partnerships in Development Cooperation with the business sector. Since 1999, GIZ (former GTZ) has carried out joint projects with private companies on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in over 60 newly industrialised and developing countries. Public-private partnerships have proven their worth in Development Cooperation. The concept is flexible and sustainable. Further information
