Cooperation
GIZ is actively involved in networks designed to harness and utilise the knowledge and experience of various actors workig on anti-corruption measures. In this context there are a number institutions with which GIZ is in regular contact:

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
UNODC and GTZ jointly elaborate approaches for supporting partner countries in the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

UNCAC Working Groups: Review of the Implementation of UNCAC, Asset Recovery, and Prevention
Via active participation in the UNCAC Working Groups, particularly in the area of technical assistance, the GTZ Anticorruption and Integrity Programme contributes to furthering the implementation of UNCAC.

International Group on Anti-Corruption (IGAC)
IGAC was established as a forum for the exchange of information on Technical Assistance (TA) in the area of anti-corruption. IGAC’s major goal is to contribute to a better cooperation and coordination among donors with respect to anti-corruption as well as to support the UNCAC Working Group on Technical Assistance.

Anti-Corruption Task Team OECD Development Assistance Committee (OECD-DAC)
Within the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC), bilateral and multilateral donors discuss and harmonise their approaches to preventing and combating corruption. The Committee has published a Policy Paper on Anti-Corruption and Principles for Donor Action in Anti-Corruption.

ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia and the Pacific
A joint undertaking between the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Initiative comprises 28 states from the Asia-Pacific region. It provides a framework for exchange of experience and seeks to support countries in tackling corruption. GTZ provides financial and advisory support.

U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre
The Anti-Corruption Resource Centre is a joint donor initiative comprising Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the UK. It serves as an interface between research and practice. Among other things it offers a help desk for specific issues and anti-corruption training. Germany is U4 Lead Donor 2009-2011.
