Guinea-Bissau
Guinea-Bissau is one of the poorest countries in the world. Political instability repeatedly led to armed conflict and destruction of the country’s infrastructure in the past. These difficult framework conditions pose an obstacle to investment by international donors and thus hinder any consistent progress toward development. On behalf of the African Development Bank (AfDB), GTZ International Services is implementing a rehabilitation project in Guinea-Bissau. We coordinate reconstruction efforts in municipalities there and use small-scale credits to prime local economic cycles. Project:Further information
