The German economic journal "manager magazin" and the trendence Institute identified the one hundred employers considered most attractive by Germany's young graduates. In 2008/2009 GTZ was once again one of them. GTZ receives an award for its family-friendly policy
At the end of November 2006, GTZ was awarded a family-friendly enterprise certificate, issued after an audit of its policies and practice. We see this award as an incentive to continue the active support we provide for our staff members, helping them combine their professional and family lives and commitments. GTZ receives award for dealing fairly with trainees
GTZ was awarded the epithet "fair company" by the initiative karriere.de and Handelsblatt. This award is extended to companies that stand for ethical business practices and which give young staff members and trainees a fair chance.
GTZ: An employer much sought after by young professionals
In a study entitled ‘Instant Talent 2009’, conducted for the second time jointly by the trendence Institute and the economic journal manager magazin, GTZ came 19th out of the top 100 companies in Germany, moving up the ranking from 33rd last year. Some 3,100 high-achieving young professionals with up to eight years work experience took part in the survey. In addition to employer attractiveness, the study looked at reasons why employer brands were considered attractive and at the willingness of future managers to change companies. Economics students rate GTZ as an attractive employer
The Universum Student Survey 2008 (German edition) revealed that students at German universities ranked GTZ as one of their top 50 employers. Over 15,000 students in Germany were questioned about their favourite employers and their career expectations. GTZ was ranked 48th by the 6,000 students of economics who took part. Universum is a Swedish market research company operating worldwide. Its German headquarters are in Cologne. GTZ is an attractive employer for law graduates
Although a newcomer to the list, GTZ has already achieved 12th place in the law section of the trendence ranking. The 2009 list of most popular employers for law graduates was published in October. The survey involved 2,054 law students, trainees and new entrants to the job market. |
