Our vacancies are mostly suitable for specialists and managers with several years of professional experience. In addition to these posts, however, we also have vacancies for graduates and young employees with up to two years experience. We term these posts "junior" posts, but they are equivalent to private industry's "fast track" positions.

Many experienced specialists find the prospect of working as advisors in international cooperation extremely attractive, and not only because of the high level of responsibility involved and the international nature of our work. Every one of our projects helps enhance the prospects of the local people. This ethical dimension of our activities allows our staff to identify with their duties far more closely than is the case in the normal work context. The joy when objectives are achieved, the personal enrichment of working in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment and the new perspectives gained are the driving force behind the dedication of our experts.

Graduates and young employees with up to two years experience can apply for one of our junior posts. These positions offer an excellent point of entry to our company, German development cooperation and international cooperation. Contracts are limited term, but staff members have good prospects of continuing their career with GTZ, other international organisations or non-governmental organisations, in German industry or in the public or academic sectors.
