We advise all public sector and civil society organisations, private sector enterprises and lobbying groups in our partner countries that are relevant to agricultural trade on how to develop and introduce trade-promoting policies.

Service reform
We support partner organisations, service providers and clients in improving the quality and effectiveness of services for users (farms, processors etc.). This is done on the basis of a systematic process that enables partners to develop these capacities.

Training in rural regions
We assist partners in introducing formal vocational and continuous training systems. In the informal sector we offer training modules in the fields of organisation, market orientation and self-help.

Rural finance
We advise agricultural development banks and design training programmes for rural financial service providers. This includes supporting partners in switching to modern data processing systems, and advising networks.

Sustainable agriculture
We advise agricultural enterprises, strengthen their organisations and enhance their technical expertise. We support them in building international networks and conducting effective PR work.

Organic farming
A key issue in this field is the certification of producers in order to improve their prospects on local and international markets. In this context we mainly provide advice on setting up low-cost local inspection bodies.

Sustainable tourism
We advise our partners on strengthening their institutions and enhancing their technical expertise. We support the development of international networks and effective PR work.
